- Calendar. Metals follow the CME metals calendar with a daily break; a banner and chart shading show when the market is closed.
- No overnight financing on metals. The desk says so on the ticket rather than charging something invented.
- Quotes read as a whole number. On the quote board the dollars are large and the cents trail small — the way a metals price is spoken.
- Everything else — quote-driven clock, mid-built charts with Bid · Mid · Ask, no VWAP or volume indicators, no depth window — matches the forex desk.
