This policy explains how paying for DAS Replay works: plans, the free trial, automatic renewal, how to cancel, and when money is (and is not) refunded. It is part of our Terms of Service. If the two conflict on a billing question, this policy controls.
DAS Replay is operated by Shark Belly Industries LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company, 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste H, Albuquerque, NM 87110 (“we”, “us”). Contact: hello@email.dasreplay.com.
DAS Replay is a training simulator. It replays recorded market data. No real money is traded, and nothing on DAS Replay is investment advice. See the Risk Disclosure.
Key terms at a glance
- Plans renew automatically until you cancel. Monthly plans renew every month; annual plans renew every year. Each renewal charges the card on file at the plan’s price at that time. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.
- Prices (USD): FX/Futures $39/mo or $390/yr · Equities Momentum $59/mo or $590/yr · All-Access $79/mo or $790/yr.
- Free trial: 7 days, once per account, card required. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged the full plan price on the date shown at checkout, and then every month or year after that until you cancel. We email you a reminder before the first charge.
- Cancel anytime, online: Settings → Billing → Open the billing portal (run by Stripe) → Cancel plan. Or email hello@email.dasreplay.com. No phone call, no chat, no retention offer.
- When a cancellation takes effect: at the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep access until then. Cancel during a trial and you are never charged.
- No refunds, except (1) where the law requires one, (2) where we charged you in error, and (3) where we choose to, for example after an extended outage on our side. If we close your account without cause, no refund is due except where the law requires one.
- Founders Lifetime ($999): one payment, never renews, and lasts for as long as Shark Belly Industries LLC operates DAS Replay. We will not end a seat without cause. If we stop operating DAS Replay, the seat ends and no refund is due except where the law requires one. Non-transferable. A lifetime seat is also governed by the Founders Lifetime Terms, which you accept at checkout.
- EU/UK consumers: you have a 14-day right to withdraw. See section 11.
1. Plans and prices
The cutover. October 5, 2026 is the last day of the beta pricing period. The founders offers in section 1.2 close at 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on October 5, 2026. Paid plans, and the first charge on anything bought before then, begin at 12:00 a.m. Eastern time the day after October 5, 2026. Everywhere below, “the first charge date” means that day.
1.1 Public plans (from 12:00 a.m. Eastern time the day after October 5, 2026)
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | What it unlocks | Replay sessions (section 6) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| FX/Futures | $39 / month | $390 / year | Forex (including gold and silver) and futures desks | 50 |
| Equities Momentum | $59 / month | $590 / year | Equities desk, plus scanner, news, float and Level 2 panels (Level 2 depth beyond the recorded inside quote is simulated) | 50 |
| All-Access | $79 / month | $790 / year | Every desk and every panel | 100 |
- All prices are in US dollars. One price applies worldwide. Your bank may charge its own currency-conversion or foreign-transaction fees; those are not ours to refund.
- Annual plans bill 10 months’ price for 12 months of access.
- There is no free plan. Without an active plan, trial or Founders Lifetime seat, you cannot start new replay sessions.
- Taxes. We do not currently add sales tax, VAT, GST or similar taxes to these prices. If we start collecting a tax, we will show it at checkout before you pay, and email existing subscribers before it first applies to a renewal (section 5 notice rules).
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
1.2 Founders offers (sold only until 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on October 5, 2026)
| Offer | Price | Billing |
|---|---|---|
| All-Access at the Founders Rate | $39 / month or $390 / year | Recurring. Nothing charged at purchase. First charge on the first charge date. |
| Founders Lifetime | $999, one time | Charged at checkout. Never renews. Limited to 100 seats. |
| FX/Futures or Equities Momentum bought on or before October 5, 2026 | Public price ($39 or $59 / month; $390 or $590 / year) | Recurring. Nothing charged at purchase. First charge on the first charge date. The price is not locked: renewals are at the price in effect at renewal (section 3). |
- “Founders Rate” is the name this policy uses for the All-Access founders price. In the app and on our site it also appears as “beta members rate” and “All-Access Beta Special”. They are the same offer.
- Both founders offers are explained in section 9. Neither is sold after 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on October 5, 2026.
1.3 Complimentary access
We sometimes give access at no charge (for example, to testers or partners). Complimentary access has no price to refund, may be time-limited, and may end on notice, unless a separate written agreement with you (for example, a creator agreement) says otherwise; in that case that agreement controls.
2. Free trial
- Length: 7 days. Your trial ends on the date and time shown at checkout, and in Settings → Billing.
- Who gets one: each account gets one trial, ever. Any earlier subscription on your account, including a trial, a Founders Rate subscription, or a plan you cancelled, uses it up. The Founders Lifetime seat has no trial.
- Card required. You enter a card to start the trial. Nothing is charged that day.
- What happens at the end: unless you cancel before the trial ends, we charge your card the plan’s full price on the date shown at checkout, and the plan then renews automatically every month or year (whichever you chose) until you cancel.
- Reminder: we email you before the trial ends, with the amount, the charge date, and how to cancel. That reminder currently goes out about two days (48 hours) before the trial ends.
- Cancel during the trial: you are not charged. You keep the trial until its scheduled end, then access stops.
- Sessions during the trial count against that plan’s normal allowance.
3. Automatic renewal
- Every monthly and annual plan is an automatically renewing subscription. It renews at the end of each billing period for another period of the same length, and we charge the card on file at the start of each new period.
- Each renewal is charged at the plan’s price in effect at renewal. We will not raise your price without notice (section 5). The Founders Rate does not change while its subscription stays active (section 9.1).
- There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.
- Your billing date is the day your first paid period started (for trials, the day the trial converted; for the Founders Rate and other pre-cutover purchases, the first charge date). The renewal date is shown in Settings → Billing under Next renewal.
- Annual plans: we will email you 30 days before each annual renewal with the renewal date, amount, and how to cancel. The first annual renewal falls one year after the first charge date.
- Once a year for every plan: we will email a reminder of what you subscribe to, how much and how often you are charged, and how to cancel.
4. How to cancel
You can cancel at any time, entirely online, in a few clicks:
- Sign in at app.dasreplay.com.
- Open Settings → Billing.
- Click Open the billing portal. This opens our billing portal, run by Stripe.
- Click Cancel plan and confirm.
Or by email. Send “Cancel my subscription” from the email address on your account to hello@email.dasreplay.com. We will cancel within 2 business days and confirm by email. If a renewal is charged after you sent that email, we will refund it.
What to expect:
- No obstacles. No phone call, no chat, no questionnaire you must complete, and no discount offer standing between you and the cancel button.
- Effective date. Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for (or until your trial ends), then access stops. Settings → Billing shows “Canceled · access continues until [date]”.
- Confirmation. Settings → Billing records the cancellation and the date your access ends as soon as you cancel, and we email you when it ends.
- Changed your mind? You can resume from the billing portal before the period ends. After it ends, you start a new subscription at the price of the day (no new trial).
- Cancelling a Founders Rate subscription releases the rate for good. See section 9.1.
- A session that is already running when your access ends is allowed to finish.
5. Price changes
- We may change the price of a plan for future billing periods.
- If a change affects your subscription, we will email you at least 7 days and no more than 30 days before it first applies to you. The notice states the old and new price, the date it takes effect, and how to cancel.
- If you do not want the new price, cancel before it takes effect and you will not be charged it.
- If we raise your price and you cancel within 14 days after the first charge at the new price, we will refund the unused part of that charge, wherever you live.
- The Founders Rate does not change while its subscription stays active (section 9.1).
- A price change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
6. Replay session allowances and availability
- What counts as a session: one symbol, on one recorded trading day, on one desk. Once you have opened a given symbol-day-desk, re-opening it later is free and never counts again.
- Allowance: 50 sessions per allowance period on FX/Futures and Equities Momentum; 100 on All-Access, including the Founders Rate; unlimited on Founders Lifetime.
- Allowance period:
- Monthly plans: one billing month, counted from your billing date, not the calendar month.
- Annual plans: one billing year. The 50 or 100 sessions cover the whole year; they do not reset monthly.
- Complimentary access: the calendar month.
- Unused sessions do not roll over and are not refunded.
- Pooled: the allowance is shared across all desks your plan includes.
- At the limit: no new session starts until the next allowance period or until you move to a higher plan. Days you have already opened still replay while your plan is active.
- Availability is not guaranteed. DAS Replay runs on shared servers. At busy times a new session may have to wait for a free seat, and outages happen. Paid plans do not get guaranteed capacity or uptime. Temporary unavailability is not a reason for a refund, but see section 10.3 for extended outages.
- One live session per account at a time. Opening the desk in a second tab or device takes over the live session, and the first one ends. Accounts are for one person and may not be shared (see the Terms).
7. Failed payments and the 7-day grace period
- If a renewal payment fails, your subscription becomes past due and a 7-day grace period starts. You keep full access during grace.
- We email you when the payment first fails, and again 2 days before grace ends. Stripe retries the card automatically during this time.
- You can update your card at any time: Settings → Billing → Open the billing portal (in-app, the strip reads “Fix payment”).
- If the payment succeeds during grace, access continues without a break.
- If it has not succeeded after 7 days, replay access ends and we aim to stop retrying your card. Nothing you have created is deleted (section 14). To come back, start a new subscription from Settings → Billing. If a retry does charge you after your access ended, that is a billing error under section 10.2 and we will refund it, unless you asked us to restore access.
- Founders Rate and non-payment: if the subscription ends for non-payment, the Founders Rate is released as if you had cancelled (section 9.1).
8. Changing plans
- You can switch between the public plans, or between monthly and annual, in the billing portal.
- Switches are prorated. Stripe calculates the unused value of your current plan and the cost of the new plan for the rest of the period. For a switch between plans on the same billing interval, the difference is charged, or credited, on your next invoice. Switching between monthly and annual starts a new billing period at once: you are charged the new plan’s price that day, less a credit for unused time on the old one. A credit reduces future charges; it is not paid out as cash.
- Switching away from the Founders Rate releases it. The Founders Rate is not offered as a plan to switch back to.
- Your session allowance follows the new plan.
- If we remove a desk that is a core part of your plan during a period you have paid for, we will tell you by email at least 30 days in advance, you may cancel at any time, and we will consider a refund of unused prepaid time under section 10.3.
9. Founders offers
9.1 All-Access at the Founders Rate ($39/month or $390/year)
- Sold only until 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on October 5, 2026, to anyone. It closes then, for everyone.
- Nothing is charged at purchase. Your card is validated for $0. The first charge is on the first charge date (12:00 a.m. Eastern time the day after October 5, 2026), and the plan then renews automatically every month or year until you cancel.
- Cancel before the first charge date and you are never charged.
- Reminder: if you bought more than 3 days before the first charge date, we email you 3 days before the first charge. If you bought later than that, your purchase confirmation is your reminder.
- What “forever” means. Wherever we say the Founders Rate is yours “forever” or “locked”, it means for as long as your subscription stays active without cancellation or lapse. It is not a date. While it stays active, your price stays at $39/month or $390/year even if the public All-Access price goes up.
- The Founders Rate is released permanently if the subscription is cancelled and reaches its end date, ends for non-payment after the grace period (section 7), or is switched to another plan. If you come back later, you pay the public price of the day.
- Includes 100 replay sessions per allowance period (section 6).
- No trial is attached, and buying it uses up your account’s one trial.
9.2 Founders Lifetime ($999, one time)
- One payment, charged at checkout. It never renews and there is nothing to cancel.
- Also governed by the Founders Lifetime Terms, which set out the seat in full and which you accept at checkout. This section and those Terms say the same thing; if they ever differ on a billing question, this policy controls.
- What you get: All-Access on your account, with unlimited replay sessions, for as long as Shark Belly Industries LLC operates DAS Replay. That includes any desk we later add to All-Access. We decide what All-Access includes, and we may sell other products separately.
- What “lifetime” means: for as long as Shark Belly Industries LLC operates DAS Replay — not your lifetime and not a fixed number of years. If we stop operating DAS Replay or shut it down permanently, the seat ends with it and no refund is due, except where the law requires one. We will give reasonable advance notice by email where we reasonably can before a shutdown. We do not commit to a fixed number of days’ notice.
- Nothing else is promised. The seat includes only what this section lists. Anything we describe as planned or coming soon is not part of what you buy until it is available.
- Non-transferable. The seat belongs to the account that bought it. It cannot be sold, gifted, moved to another account, or shared.
- Non-refundable except as described in section 10. A full refund of a lifetime seat (for example, for a billing error) removes the seat and its access.
- We will not end a seat without cause while we operate DAS Replay. We may end a seat for cause (section 10.1) — for example, account sharing or reselling access. No refund is due in that case.
- Limited to 100 seats. Not sold after 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on October 5, 2026.
10. Refunds
10.1 Our general rule: all sales are final
All payments are non-refundable, except as listed in 10.2 and 10.3. This includes monthly and annual subscriptions, the Founders Rate, the Founders Lifetime seat, partial billing periods, unused time after you cancel, unused replay sessions, and periods when you did not use DAS Replay. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for instead of receiving a refund.
This is why we offer a 7-day free trial and ask you to cancel before it ends if DAS Replay is not for you.
What “cause” means. Wherever this policy or the Terms say we may end your access, a plan or a seat for cause, that means: your material breach of the Terms (for example, account sharing, reselling access, or abuse of the service); non-payment after the grace period in section 7; fraud, chargeback abuse, or an unauthorized payment; a step we must take to comply with the law, a court or regulator order, or an agreement with a data provider; or long inactivity on an account with no paid plan or Founders Lifetime seat. Anything else is without cause. Section 12.2 of the Terms sets out the same list in full.
If we close your account without cause, no refund is due, except where the law requires one. That is the whole rule; there is no pro-rata refund of unused prepaid time. For Founders Lifetime, see section 9.2: we will not end a seat without cause.
10.2 When we will refund
The general rule does not apply, and we will refund, when:
- The law requires it, or section 5 promises it. Nothing in this policy takes away a right you have under the law where you live that cannot be waived by contract, including the EU/UK withdrawal right in section 11. The price-increase refund in section 5 applies to everyone.
- We charged you in error. For example, a duplicate charge, a charge after a cancellation we had recorded or you had emailed us (section 4), a charge made after your access ended for non-payment (section 7), a charge at a price other than the one you agreed to, or a charge you never authorized. Tell us within 60 days of the charge and we will correct it, normally by refunding the incorrect amount to the original payment method. The 60-day window is for this policy only; it does not shorten any longer period the law or your card issuer gives you to dispute a charge.
- We choose to (section 10.3).
10.3 Discretionary refunds
We may, at our discretion, issue a refund or credit in other situations. In particular, if DAS Replay is unavailable to you for more than 7 consecutive days in a paid period because of a fault on our side, or if we remove a core desk from your plan (section 8), we will consider a refund or credit for the time affected. Doing so once does not oblige us to do it again, for you or anyone else.
10.4 How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. Banks usually take 5–10 business days to show them. A refund of a subscription payment does not by itself cancel the subscription; cancel it separately if you want it to stop.
11. EU and UK consumers: your right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer living in the European Union (or elsewhere in the EEA) or the United Kingdom, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from a contract made online, without giving a reason. The 14 days start on the day the contract is made: the day you complete checkout (for a trial, the day the trial starts).
- Asking for immediate access. DAS Replay can start working as soon as you check out. We are adding a step at checkout that asks you to tick a box confirming that you want access to begin immediately, during the 14-day withdrawal period, and that you understand you lose your right to withdraw once you start your first replay session on the plan or seat you bought, together with an email confirming that request and acknowledgment.
- Where you have given that request and acknowledgment and we have confirmed it to you: your right to withdraw ends once you start your first replay session. Where you have not, or we did not send you that confirmation, your right to withdraw runs for the full 14 days.
- Before your first replay session, while the right still applies: you may withdraw and we refund everything you paid. If you are on a free trial, nothing has been charged, so withdrawing simply ends the contract.
- After the right ends: we may still refund at our discretion, case by case (section 10.3).
- How to withdraw: email hello@email.dasreplay.com within the 14 days with “I withdraw from my DAS Replay contract”, your account email, and the date of purchase. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but you do not have to. We refund any amount due within 14 days of receiving your notice, to the original payment method.
- Nothing in this policy limits other mandatory rights you have as a consumer where you live.
Model withdrawal form (complete and return only if you wish to withdraw):
To: Shark Belly Industries LLC (DAS Replay), 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste H, Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA, hello@email.dasreplay.com I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the following service: DAS Replay (plan). Ordered on: (date) · Account email: (email) · Name: (name) · Date: (date)
12. Chargebacks and payment disputes
- If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us first at hello@email.dasreplay.com. Most billing problems are fixed faster that way, and we will refund any charge made in error (section 10.2).
- You are always free to dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer. We will respond to disputes with the records we hold (section 15).
- While a dispute is open, we may pause access paid for by the disputed charge. If the dispute is decided in your favor, the disputed amount is returned to you and the access it paid for ends; for a Founders Lifetime seat, the seat is removed. If it is decided in our favor, access resumes.
- Filing a dispute for a charge you authorized and received the service for, instead of cancelling, may lead us to close the account for cause (section 10.1).
13. Notices we send you
We send these by email to the address on your account. They are account notices, not marketing, so they are sent even if you have unsubscribed from marketing email.
| When | What it says |
|---|---|
| Right after purchase | Confirmation of what you bought, the price, when you will be charged, that it renews automatically until you cancel, the cancellation policy, and how to cancel. |
| Before a trial ends (currently about two days before) | Charge date, amount, how to cancel. |
| 3 days before the first charge date (Founders Rate and other pre-cutover purchases bought more than 3 days before it) | First-charge date, amount, how to cancel. |
| When access ends after a cancellation | That the plan has ended. |
| 30 days before an annual renewal | Renewal date, amount, how to cancel. |
| At least once a year (all plans) | What you subscribe to, price and frequency, how to cancel. |
| 7 to 30 days before a price change | Old and new price, effective date, how to cancel. |
| When a payment fails, and 2 days before grace ends | What failed, when access ends, how to fix it. |
| Receipts | Sent by Stripe after each payment. |
14. What happens to your data when access ends
Ending a plan (by cancelling, trial end, or non-payment) stops new replay sessions. It does not delete your account. Your layouts, hotkeys, session history, trades and journal stay in your account, and share links you created keep working until you revoke them. To delete your account, see the Privacy Policy.
15. Records
We keep records of your purchases, cancellations and the notices we sent for at least 3 years, or 1 year after your subscription ends if that is longer. Ask us for a copy at hello@email.dasreplay.com.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If a change materially affects an existing subscription, we will email you 30 days before it takes effect, tell you how to cancel before then, and, where required, ask for your agreement. Changes do not apply to charges made before they take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the current version; earlier versions are available on request.
